Sour Cream Pound Cake

Sour Cream Pound Cake

A wonderful, moist pound cake recipe.

Ingredients

  • 2 sticks margarine (softened)
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 3 cups cake flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon soda
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon lemon extract

Instructions

  1. 1.

    Cream margarine and sugar.

  2. 2.

    Add eggs, one at a time.

  3. 3.

    Add remaining ingredients gradually.

  4. 4.

    Be sure to mix cake thoroughly.

  5. 5.

    Spoon into prepared Bundt pan.

  6. 6.

    Bake for 1 hour at 350° or until toothpick inserted into center of cake comes out clean."
